All engines need service & repairs sooner or later. The Stihl products especially this one is most difficult to work on. Even removing the spark plug is a job. Everything is covered inside the cover shroud. which has 7 screws to remove it. 2 of which are hidden. the carburetor has limiters, which makes it impossible to adjust. The carburetor is most difficult to remove. Stay away from stiel unless you enjoy paying $120 hr for repair work at your local shop.
Has anyone had trouble with the clutch drum moving and making noise sliding up and down? My dealer is taking care of it, but curious if you all have experienced this?
It happened on the 5th time using it, definitely disappointing, otherwise I was very happy with it. I run Stihl saws and haven’t had any troubles.
